1. Information we collect
AdScale ("we", "us") runs paid advertising for service businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through adscalehq.com and what we do with it.
When you fill in a form on this site we collect what you enter: your name, email address and phone number, and depending on the form your business name, website, industry, service area, current ad spend, the ad platforms you use, average job value, cost per lead and lead goals, your answers to service-specific questions, your biggest challenge, when you want to start, whether you make the decision, your preferred contact time, any message you write, and the date and time you book.
We also record technical details that come with every request: the page you submitted from, your timezone as reported by your browser, and the date and time. Our hosting provider sees your IP address in order to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and tell us roughly which country you are in, so we can show prices in dollars or pounds. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry. If you came to the site from one of our ads or another website, your form also includes the campaign details from that link (such as UTM tags or an ad click ID like gclid or fbclid) and the address of the site that referred you, so we can see which campaigns bring in enquiries.
2. How we use information
We use the information you give us to reply to your enquiry, call you at the time you asked for, prepare for and hold the strategy call you booked, review your ad accounts if you give us access, send you the newsletter if you subscribed, and keep records of our conversations.
We use technical details to run and secure the site and to show you the US or UK version. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Sharing and disclosure
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and the server code that receives forms) and Supabase (the database where enquiries and bookings are stored). If we start using an email delivery service to send confirmations, it will process your name and email address for that purpose.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case the new owner would be bound by this policy.
4. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any). You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email hello@adscalehq.com from the address you used with us, or call us. We will confirm your identity by matching the details you give against what we hold, and respond within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that they act for you.
In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information about your business and advertising, and internet activity on this site (pages submitted from), all from you directly, for the purposes in "How we use information".
5. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This site currently has no advertising or analytics tags. If that changes, we will update this policy, ask for consent where required, and honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiries and bookings that do not lead to work for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we have the history if you come back. For clients, we keep records for the length of the engagement and up to 6 years after it ends, for accounting and legal purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with our database provider, which encrypts it at rest. The website cannot read stored enquiries back; only our team can, through an authenticated account. No system is completely secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
8. Children's privacy
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or contact you directly.
